Jason Giger began studying classical guitar as a high school student with Jamie Johnson at Taylor University in the small Indiana town of Upland. As a college undergraduate Jason was profoundly influenced by the instruction of such world-renowned guitarist as Claire Callahan of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and National Finger-style Champion Muriel Anderson. He earned his bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee under the instruction of the chairman of guitar studies John Pell and Robert Thompson, of the nationally renowned Godwin-Thompson Guitar Duo. Receiving a minor as well for his study of philosophy at Belmont, Jason’s interest in the aesthetic and philosophic nature of music drives his passion for thoughtful and communicative artistic expression. Jason has been providing guitar performance and instruction throughout the South and Midwest for over 15 years. Jason also currently holds the Director of Worship & Arts position at Church of the Redeemer (PCA) Atlanta, GA and serves as the Executive Director of the Muéo Arts program and is Muéo Arts Academy Dean.
