Through games and exercises designed for younger children whose reading skills have not fully developed, we will explore the three tools all actors carry in their toolbox: voice, body and imagination. Students should come dressed in clothing in which they can move freely and get messy.

FOR AGES 9 - 11

Through games, exercises, and improvisational scenes, we will explore the actor tools of voice, body and imagination. Students will also begin to explore some relaxation/concentration techniques employed by Stanislavsky, the famous Russian acting teacher, and learn a little bit about what has come to be known as his "method".

*Though all of our faculty are indepent instructors who establish and collect their own class fees, all students must register with the Muéo Academy for an annual administrative fee of $45 per student (or family) payable directly to Muéo Arts Academy. Registration forms can be obtained through your instructor and should be filled out and returned with the administration fee payment on or before the first scheduled class.
