Hearty Soups & Stews -Demonstration Class

Winter is the perfect time to enjoy a toasty bowl of warm soup or stew. Come learn the basics about preparing soup and enjoy tasting Chef Rosemary’s Baked Potato Soup with Scallions, Tortilla Soup with Avocado, and African Peanut & Beef Stew. We will also make Scallion Pancakes with Ginger Dipping Sauce, a great accompaniment to soup or Asian food. 

Knife Skills -Hands On

Enhance your cooking skills and glide through your food prep with ease! Bring your apron, cutting board and favorite knife. This hands on class will teach you basic knife skills, how to select the right knife for the job, what is a good cutting board, and guidelines for practicing your skills at home.

*Though all of our faculty are indepent instructors who establish and collect their own class fees, all students must register with the Muéo Academy for an annual administrative fee of $45 per student (or family) payable directly to Muéo Arts Academy. Registration forms can be obtained through your instructor and should be filled out and returned with the administration fee payment on or before the first scheduled class.
