The purpose of this 6 week class is to introduce students to the basics of audio engineering for live events. Each class will consist of a brief lecture, after which the students will apply what they have learned. After five classes the students will have assembled basic PA systems; connected various inputs such as microphones and mp3 players; and used them to amplify sound at the appropriate volume. In the final class the students will exercise their new skills by preparing for a mock performance.

*Though all of our faculty are indepent instructors who establish and collect their own class fees, all students must register with the Muéo Academy for an annual administrative fee of $45 per student (or family) payable directly to Muéo Arts Academy. Registration forms can be obtained through your instructor and should be filled out and returned with the administration fee payment on or before the first scheduled class.
